Gaza Today

Right now in Israel there is violence. The root of this violence is anti-semitisim. The violence is between Israel and the terrorist organization Hamas. Hamas is attaking Israel with rockets and then they go and hide in schools and hospitals. Israel has no choice but to attack. The Arabs then acuse us of aiming for the kids and the sick. The UN is trying to get Israel to stop. Where were they over the last week when Arabs sent 300 rockets into Israel. It seems that when Hamas tries to kill the innocent the UN turns a blind eye. But when Israel does its job to defend itself they care. The UN might not be pro-Israel’s decision but USA  is.

Fighting Anti-Semitism

All people who are suffering because of Anti-Semitism  should know that one day they will prevail.  You might be thinking, who do I have during my suffering.  Well, you have the all the other people suffering Anti-Semitism which means:  That this blog will spread and we will always have people to turn to making these times easier then they currently are.

Even in America

When most people think of Anti-Semitism they think of somewhere else and not in America. As a matter of fact, tons of Jews get made fun of, get yelled at with disgusting Anti-Semitic comments, and sometimes get even battered in the United States. Just a few weeks ago, my father and I were walking home from Shul and a bunch of teenagers were driving in a pick-up truck and yelled disgusting comments at my father and me.  Another event also happened a few weeks ago at a cafe. A Jewish boy was stabbed by an African American.

Modern Anti Semitism

What do you think of when you think of anti semitism . Most people probaly think of the Holocaust or maybe even a litlle further back to the Spanish Inquisition. But what I belive should be thought about nowadays is Iran, Heazbolah, Al Qaeda, or even Syria and Hamas. For currently these are the threats to Jewish life. And many of these are not seprate but rather together. For as a whole they do damage. So we must stop and think about it. We must think of what we can do to lend a hand to our suffering family in Israel and all around the world. Because together the Jews are one.

SICHA - Children Against Anti-Semitism

Welcome to SICHA - Children Against Anti-Semitism (CAAS)’s blog.  SICHA is the Hebrew word for conversation. Children from the South Florida area are inviting every child to participate in this discussion of real life anti-semitism, their thoughts on prejudice in general, and the role of false witnesses in spreading messages of hate.  We invite all youth (children, pre-teens, teens, college students) who read the messages that are posted will join in the shared experience.
