So imed your saying its not right to look over our shoulders as we walk because we are Jewish even though there are millions all over the world including the USA who want to kill us. I am not sure you relize this but it is not only that anti semitisim there are plenty of people in the usa both muslims germans and some born american who want to kill us. Just becasue they have not show their faces yet does no mean we should not think about them. They want us dead and we MUST take small precautions(like looking over our shoulder) to protect us. I am sure you know about the murders and kidnappins in the USA. Many of those people who do these thing would really like to add Adult Jews and Jewish Children to their lists. So before you say we are not in danger think again.

I don’t agree with that Antisemitism is not really known in America.Anti-Semitic things have happend such as 9/11. Another is the burning of a shul in Miami.Last my friend told me that in Fort Lauderdale there were Palestinians protesting about the war in Gaza.We must never forget that we can’t let terrible things happen to our brethren indifferent parts of the world.

Zal I do not belive that holding your head up high but also looking over your shoulder are to separate things. I think you can hold your head up high be proud to be a Jew openly but at the same time while you are doing that you can look over your shoulder. Because being Jewish isnt the safest thing in the world.

Dan it seems that when someone screams something at you from a moving car there is not much you can do. All you can do is just continue on with your normal life. You just try you just hold your head up high and ignore it.

The same thing happened to me I was by myself on my way to shul and some guys drove by me an screamed out their window dirty dog. Ever since then i always look over my shoulder

I would just like to say I agree with you and people have screamed derogatory things at me when I was walking on shabbat too. I would also like to say there are other forms of anti-semitism such as when someone goes to YouTube an anti-semitic video might be featured or when somone is browsing bumper stickers on facebook they might come across an anti-semetic one. There are a whole lot more examples of anti-semitism in America today.
